About Messaging

A document can be any output that will be printed on paper.  With the messaging module you can control generally as much as you would like or in regard to text or graphics on a document.  

The carrier is the document that contains the actual card.  Messages and logos that are present on the carrier can be controlled with the messaging module.

Digital Card clients can control information on that back and front of cards.  Control customer service phone numbers or logos and much more.

A category is a collection of messages that share like attributes.  Examples would be:  regulatory messages, year end messages, customer service phone numbers, branch numbers, etc...

Categories can cross section and areas.

An area is a specific x - y coordinate on a card/carrier or document.  

A section can contain multiple areas.  It is specifically a location on the card/carrier or document.  For example:  The back of a document, the footer of a card or carrier.  

Output types are commonly either:  Cards, Carriers, or Documents.  These can be specifically named after the output that will be produced.
